Best Bible Study - Got Better
Olive Tree, a software company I have loved since my Palm Pilot days, has read my mind. Their BibleReader 5.0 app ($0.99) now supports a split screen view with your notes.
Best Bible Study
I've been searching for the best way to take Bible notes. It needed to have the following criteria:
- Be Digital / Search-able
- Cross Platform, Mac/PC/iPod
- Ideally something I can run on my own server and open source
What I found fits 2 out of 3, and is not bad. Evernote, www.evernote.com
TLD Dynamic DNS Service for Free
I've used paid dynamic DNS services for years. The original evansclan.org web and e-mail was hosted on servers I had in my home office. I continued to pay for both the domain registration, as well as the dynamic services to point to a top level domain for years. But, the rising costs of this "premium" service forced me to find a cheaper way. I still have my own domain, and parts of it still point to my house network, but I don't pay the premiums.
This one time at Apple Camp...
