It's amazing how God works. I just found out yesterday that a group of people from my church are going to LA to help the church we adopted to assist rebuild after Katrina hit. And, as my wife and I spent the afternoon putting a storage bin system together for the church's nursery, we agreed that it would be worth me going down, and possibly her if we can find a babysitter. I know it's been some time since the initial hit, but the need for help is still there, and it looks like I will be able to help fill the need. Within 24 hours of hearing we are going in May, just 6 weeks away, I have the week off and my contracts rescheduled. We will be going down to assist the First Baptist Church of Slidell with the assistance of our contacts in LA, the the Glasgow's. Please pray for a safe trip and God's guidance in our endeavor.
